Agricultural Ventilation Fans, Performance and Efficiencies
The BESS Lab has recently updated and expanded Agricultural Ventilation Fans, Performance and Efficiencies. This publication provides the livestock/poultry housing designer and greenhouse designer an unbiased source of performance data for over 300 commercially available ventilation fans ranging in sizes from 8” – 54” in diameter.
The fans are grouped according to size, so comparisons can easily be
made between manufacturers and models. A section listing performance
for variable speed fans operating at several voltages is also included.
Performance data at multiple speeds allows building operators to get a
better handle on their ventilation rates, and power usage, when fans are
running at reduced speeds.
In addition to the performance listings, an introductory section discusses
